as an entrepreneur
Jeff has always had a spark for resisting authority and challenging the status quo (particularly at a younger age). Consequently entrepreneurship has always been appealing for the chance to change the world and make waves. Recently Jeff's spark has turned ablaze after reading 'The Monk and the Riddle' by Randy Komisar, and receiving advice for a life of managing and investing in startups. Currently Jeff is learning all that he can and is becoming involved in local entrepreneurial circles. This fall he is taking ECE 383 to assist other students in their mock companies to immerse himself in the challenges and victories that come from launching a startup. Jeff hopes that his love of helping others excell in their passions, and visionary leadership and planning will make him a thought leader in venture capital in the future.
