Jeff Huber

as a student

As he wears a prosthetic leg, Jeff has been interested in developing a process to optimize the development of prosthetic sockets using 3D data harvested from a CAT scan to automatically determine the correct points of pressure. Then a Rapid Prototyping (RP) machine would simply 'print' the new socket for the user. This would eliminate the current system of destructive and wasteful positive and negative molds, hopefully yielding a faster, more accurate, more comfortable and less wasteful product with extreme low-cost solutions to rehabilitate many of those who could not otherwise afford it.  If you would like to help Jeff in accomplishing vision, send him an email at jeffchuber@gmail.com (Talents needed include programming, 3D modeling, industrial design, and passion!)

Jeff is very interested in foreign affairs, international trade and economics, the development of nations, government, politics, diplomacy, peace and conflict resolution, entrepreneurship, venture capital, angel investing, and startups. Spring 2010, Jeff will be taking classes at Copenhagen Business School focusing around these issues. He hopes to pursue master's work dealing with the economics of development and/or industrial engineering. With these skills partnered with a zeal for changing the world, he prays to make a lasting difference in his life.

If you are passionate about any of these ideas, email Jeff to connect and discuss how we can change the world together.
